'Barefoot' Backfire: Make-a-Wish Kid Turns Ina Down | PopEater.com

'Barefoot' Backfire: Make-a-Wish Kid Turns Ina Down | PopEater.com

And the saga continues. I have to say she got what she deserved. This entire situation was something that her career will never bounce back from. I know I personally will never watch her again. I also have several family members who agree. The article brought up a very good point, if people don't like her they won't support her.

I hope Enzo Pereda and his family have a wonderful time swimming with the dolphins.

'Barefoot Contessa' Turns Down Make-a-Wish Kid, Twice - ABC News

'Barefoot Contessa' Turns Down Make-a-Wish Kid, Twice - ABC News

It is amazing to me how fast a person, can change their mind. Especially when they get bad publicity because of of their initial decision. I know she can not possibly respond, and participate with every request she receives. No one could. I honestly just think more thought should be put into the things she does. Not like her show is not recorded in advance.

Food Network Chef Ina Garten Denies Make-A-Wish Request

Food Network Chef Ina Garten Denies Make-A-Wish Request

I am an avid Food Network viewer. I know personally I will never watch this woman again. I don't see how anyone can possibly turn down a child's Make A Wish wish. It takes a very heartless individual to do something like that to a child who may not be here much longer. I used to like this chef, however after reading this article that has changed.

Tragedy in Japan

My heart goes out to everyone that has been, and could still be effected by this terrible tragedy. If the earthquake, and tsunami weren't bad enough to try and recover from, now they have the problems with the nuclear reactors to worry about.

As the wheels turn

After spending 2 nights sleeping on the couch due to orders from his doctor to keep his head elevated, my darling husband slept in the bed Friday night, and Saturday night. We now know why they say to keep it elevated for 7-10days. He now looks like someone hit him. The inside corners of both of his eyes are swollen and bruised. He goes to the Doctor at 10 in the morning for partial suture removal. The doctor said they did to much rearranging to remove them all at once. This makes me feel better, because even I can tell by looking at it that a couple of places need a few more days.
I'm just incredibly glad to know they got all of it, now to just get him healed and normal again.

What a week

On Monday my husband had a MOHS procedure done. This procedure was done to remove skin cancer. Due to where it was, and the size of the tumor, Wednesday he had to have another surgery done to close the hole left from Monday's procedure. I am pleased to report that he is doing great. He went back to work today, and worked half a day. I think he's going to try for a full day tomorrow. I am also pleased to be able to say that according to the report we got from the doctor, there is no evidence of the tumor after the procedure on Monday. This means luckily he will not have receive chemo, or radiation.

I am so happy with the outcome. That man means the world to me.

To my wonderful husband Jerry. Baby, I love you more then I can tell you! I am so thankful everything went so well.
